15 minutes by car
Agios Georgios
The headland is 15 minutes from the villas, with an early Christian excavation above a small working harbour.
15 minutes up the coast, the road reaches a headland with the sea on three sides. There is a stone church at the top. Around it are the excavated floors of an earlier settlement, including three early Christian basilicas, tombs and mosaic fragments.
Below the headland is a small working harbour with a slipway and a handful of boats. A row of fish tavernas stands above it, looking west over the water.
The sea caves are on the same road a few minutes back, so both places can be visited on the same trip.
