Which airport
Paphos (PFO) is the nearest airport, about 35 minutes away by car. The drive is 24 km, most of it on the motorway and then the coast road north through Paphos.
Larnaca (LCA) is the other airport with international flights, and the fares are sometimes cheaper. The drive from there takes about two hours each way.
By hire car
The hire desks are in the arrivals hall at Paphos, past baggage reclaim, so you can collect a car and drive out. Allow for the paperwork on top of the 35 minutes.
Both villas have parking. Check what your own licence needs in Cyprus before you book, because that depends on where it was issued.
By taxi
Taxis wait outside the arrivals hall at any hour. The journey takes the same 35 minutes as the drive.
Fares are set by the government rather than by the driver, and the meter runs for the whole journey. The approved rate from the airport to the Coral Bay area is €24.30 by day and €28.67 between 20:30 and 06:00, plus €1.20 a bag. Booking a transfer in advance usually costs more than that.
By bus
There is no direct bus. Route 612 runs from the airport to the Tombs of the Kings station in Paphos, and route 615 runs from there to Coral Bay. A 615 stop on Coral Bay Avenue is about four minutes' walk from either villa.
A single ticket is €2, or €3 after 21:00, paid to the driver in cash. The 612 runs roughly once an hour and the 615 every 10 to 15 minutes, so allow an hour and a half, and longer if you have just missed the 612. The service is thinner from December to March. Current times are on the bus company's own timetables. With luggage and a change of bus, most people arriving for a week take a taxi or a hire car.
Coming from Larnaca
Larnaca is 143 km away, and the drive takes about two hours. A cheaper fare can still be worth it, but count the transfer at both ends before you book.
A scheduled shuttle runs between the two airports, so a hire car is not the only way across. Check the current operator and times when you plan the day.
Do you need a car?
A car is not essential if you plan to stay around the villas. The beach is a 10-minute walk, and the Coral Bay strip with its restaurants, bars and supermarket is two minutes away. Taxis are available for occasional journeys.
The Akamas peninsula, Lara Bay, Avakas Gorge and the Paphos archaeological sites are not realistically reachable from the villas without a car. Traffic in Cyprus drives on the left.
