Things to do near Coral Bay

Beaches, villages and day trips.

Three places can be reached on foot. The guides below group all 12 by how much time to allow.

Coral Bay is close to both Paphos and the Akamas. Paphos harbour and the archaeological sites are to the south. To the north, the coast becomes quieter as it approaches the Akamas peninsula.

Coral Bay beach and the strip are a short walk from the villas. Corallia beach is a longer walk, or a short drive. The remaining journey times are shown by car, although taxis are available locally.

The groups below show roughly how much time to allow for each outing. Journey times are from the villas and may vary with traffic.

Getting around

  • On footThe Coral Bay strip is a flat walk. Both beaches are downhill on the way there and uphill on the return.
  • By carThe other journey times are by car. Check your hire agreement before using the rough tracks to Avakas Gorge or Lara Bay.
  • Longest driveThe drive to the Blue Lagoon departure point takes about 45 minutes.

These places are north of the villas or uphill in Peyia, and take between five and 15 minutes to reach by car.

Gorge, waterfall and wine villages

Adonis Baths and Kathikas are within 25 minutes by car. The Avakas Gorge trail is currently closed.

More time

Paphos and the Akamas

Paphos is a 20-minute drive. Lara Bay and the departure point for Blue Lagoon boats take about 40 to 45 minutes to reach.
